About the Role
We are seeking a proactive
Manager - Operations
to work closely with the
Director of Operations
in driving key business initiatives, managing pilot projects, and improving operational efficiency across stores and supply chain functions.
This role suits professionals with a
retail operations or business strategy background
who can blend analytical insight with hands-on execution.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
5-8 years as Assistant to the directors' role/manager, founders' office / executive assistant, business operations role /retail operations, business projects / operations excellence.
Industry Preference:
Organized retail, FMCG, consumer durables, or multi-store chain.
Skills:
Strong coordination and execution ability
Excellent analytical and reporting skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
Exposure to project management / process improvement tools
Comfortable interfacing with CXO-level leadership
Good business acumen and ownership mindset
Key Responsibilities
Act as the operations link between the Director's Office and business functions (store ops, procurement, logistics, HR, finance).
Manage and track
key operational and pilot projects
, ensuring timely completion and measurable outcomes.
Prepare and present
operations dashboards, MIS, and analytical reports
for management reviews.
Support process improvement and standardization initiatives across stores and regions.
Coordinate and monitor
store rollout projects, vendor evaluations, and efficiency programs.
Follow up on action items from management meetings and ensure inter-departmental closure.
Conduct operational research, benchmarking, and documentation for decision support.
