Scope of Job
One point of contact for the hotel Pre-opening commercial team
Will participate in the Strategic Positioning workshop
Would be involved in the Brand induction and training of the Unit team
Will work closely with the Operations team to ensure flawless opening
Will support the hotel in budget preparation and market insights
Any other Commercial related activities supporting the Directors of Revenue / Digital / Marketing / Sales
Pre-Opening Planning: This role will be responsible for providing support to the hotel opening team in developing and executing pre-opening plans. This includes working with the sales and marketing team to create and implement sales and marketing plans for the new hotel.
Market Research and Analysis: This role will conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities for the new hotel. This includes analyzing competitor activity, customer trends, and market conditions to inform sales and marketing plans and strategies.
Revenue Management: This role will work with the revenue management team to develop and implement pricing strategies for the new hotel. This includes analyzing customer demand and setting pricing levels that maximize revenue and occupancy rates.
Sales, Marketing and Digital Support: The role will provide support to the sales, Marketing and Digital team in developing and executing strategic plans for the new hotel. This includes assisting with the creation of marketing collateral, identifying potential sales leads, and supporting the sales team in securing bookings and contracts, website content, liaise with Digital clusters and agencies
Relationship Management: The role requires to develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders
Reporting and Analysis: This role will provide regular reporting and analysis on key metrics such as occupancy rates, revenue, and customer satisfaction. This includes using data analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Project Management: Work closely with the hotel opening team to ensure that all commercial aspects of the opening are delivered on time and within budget.
System setup: Work closely with IT and Data Services to ensure all systems are in place
The Commercial Support role is critical in providing support to the hotel opening team in developing and executing sales and marketing plans, revenue management strategies, and relationship management with key stakeholders. Successful candidates should have experience in hotel sales, marketing, revenue management, and project management, and have excellent communication and analytical skills.
