Position : Manager on Duty

Qualification : Any Graduate/PG

Experience : 2 to 5 years

Location : Kothapet, Hydrerabad

Job Responsibilities:

The MOD is responsible for all administrative decisions of the hospital. Frequent rounds of the Hospital are mandatory. Observations to be noted and discussed with concerned HODs for necessary corrective action.

- To visit the following areas mandatorily and cover the other areas in the Hospital to understand if there are existing issues to be resolved.

External area of the Hospital

Inpatient areas

Pharmacy: OP and IP

Billing & Front office

Radiology

Emergency services

Stores

Accommodation

Housekeeping & Security

Maintenance

2. To send the status of the Hospital report at the end of the shift to the MOD group on Whatsapp.

3. To verify the financial clearance data sent by the financial counseling team for the Patients posted for Surgery the next day.

For already admitted Patients to whom clearance has NOT been given, meet the Patient and request them to make the payment without which the surgery will not be done. If the Patient still does not pay the required amount even after this meeting before the scheduled time of surgery, the MOD along with the financial counsellor need to take financial undertaking form in the Hospital's approved format from either the Patient or the attender. The same should be informed to GM-Ops.

4. MOD report to be filled in the prescribed format and send mail or whatsapp to Director.

5. Keeping track of completion of Medico Legal Report in ER and their police intimation.

6. In case of Mass causality alerting the Disaster committee members & the members have to report the hospital at the earliest.

7. In such events keep informed to Key people in Management.

8. MODs can inform the GM-ops for discounts and for various reasons over and above need to consult Director.

9. MOD is expected to visit the OT and ensure all clearance is received for the surgery which are scheduled for the day and ensure necessary communication is done as appropriate.

10. In case of Death / Brought dead protocols

a. In case of Death happened in the hospital, immediately reach the respective ward / ICU, try to understand the reaction of the patient attenders, identify one among the attender who can help us in making ease of the process (making payment, taking away the body without any disturbance & keep him as your point of contact).

If the attendees become Violent & crowd is increasing, immediately call the Security for help

Do not get in conversation to the attenders alone; take the help of In-house security.
