As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking Technology- Operation Technology Group , you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team\'s work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.

Job responsibilities

  • Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
  • Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
  • Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
  • Manages stakeholder relationships and the team\'s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
  • Creates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
  • Experience in Contact Center Technology with Omni channel implementation on AWS or Genesys or similar CCaaS platforms.
  • Have and overall approach for application modernization from legacy data centers to AWS. Full life-cycle exposure with such migration will be preferred.
  • Hands on experience with Java/python and integration utilizing Vendor SDK/APIs like Genesys Cloud, Amazon Connect or similar is desired.
  • Good understanding of Micro Services Architecture with proven experience of converting monolith code into Micro Services and very familiar with Event Driven architectures (pub/sub model) leveraging centralized caching like Redis etc.
  • Experience working on AWS Services like S3, Kinesis Data Stream, Amazon Connect, AWS Lambda, AWS API gateway, AWS Event Bridge, AWS ECS, AWS CloudWatch, AWS RDS, AWS DDB etc.
  • Good understanding of autoscaling and load balancing on Public Cloud Environment.
  • Ability to identify new cloud technologies and relevant solutions to ensure design constraints are met by the software team.
  • Ability to initiate and implement ideas to solve business problems.
  • Exposure in Performance testing of Contact center Call Routing components, Knows right sizing with respect to volume. Document and explain outcome of performance tests.
  • Experience in observability such as white and black box monitoring, service level objective alerting, and telemetry collection using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, and others.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience working at code level
  • Works closely with Product Owners and other functional and technology teams to achieve common organizational and technology goals.
  • Seasoned understanding of risk controls and compliance to departmental and company-wide standards especially on public cloud platform.
  • Having AWS Associate and/or Professional certifications will be an added advantage
