Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead the

development of new gemstone products

, including new cuts, shapes, sizes, assortments, and finishes as per market and customer demand Conduct

trials, sampling, and pilot runs

for new products to evaluate quality, yield, cost, and feasibility Coordinate closely with

PPC, Production, QC/QA, Assorting, and Sales teams

to ensure smooth transition from development to bulk production Analyze

yield, PCS/CTS recovery, rejection levels, and costing

for new products Develop and document

standard operating procedures (SOPs)

for new products and processes Identify opportunities for

process improvement, innovation, and cost optimization

Track

market trends, customer feedback, and competitor products

to suggest new product ideas Ensure new products meet

quality standards, timelines, and profitability goals

Prepare detailed

NPD reports, presentations, and updates

for management Support training of production and assorting teams for newly developed products

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of

precious and semi-precious gemstones

Understanding of

gemstone manufacturing processes

(cutting, taiyari, polishing, assorting, QC) Knowledge of

PCS/CTS, yield optimization, and cost control

Good analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple development projects simultaneously

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate

2-5 years of experience

in gemstone manufacturing, preferably in

NPD / R&D role

Hands-on experience in developing new gemstone products is mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
