About the Role
The Network Facility Manager will lead end-to-end facility management across Purplle's pan-India network of Distribution Centers (DCs), Fulfillment Centers (FCs), and Dark Stores. This role will own all infrastructure, utilities, safety, compliance, vendor management, and maintenance functions to ensure smooth operations across nodes.
By combining process excellence and vendor governance, you will drive cost optimization, uptime improvement, and sustainability initiatives across the facility network, enabling seamless day-to-day operations and scalability for Purplle's rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations & Maintenance

  • Own and oversee facility operations across DCs, FCs, and Dark Stores.
  • Ensure 24/7 uptime for critical utilities (power, HVAC, material handling equipment, CCTV, access control, fire safety).
  • Develop and execute preventive & predictive maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor AMC & warranty adherence for all assets and infrastructure.
Safety, Compliance & Audits
  • Ensure 100% compliance with statutory requirements (fire safety, labor law, health & safety norms).
  • Conduct regular facility safety audits and drive corrective action plans.
  • Lead emergency preparedness drills (fire, evacuation, electrical safety).
Vendor & Contract Management
  • Manage facility-related vendors (security, housekeeping, maintenance contractors).
  • Negotiate cost-effective AMCs and service contracts, ensuring SLA adherence.
  • Establish performance scorecards for vendor evaluation and renewal.
Facility Expansion & Projects
  • Partner with Projects/Procurement for new site setup, retrofit, and capacity expansion.
  • Track budget adherence, timelines, and quality for infra expansion.
  • Introduce sustainable initiatives (energy efficiency, water management, waste reduction).
Data, Analytics & Reporting
  • Develop dashboards for facility uptime, maintenance compliance, and safety KPIs.
  • Track OPEX vs CAPEX spends, highlighting opportunities for cost savings.
  • Present regular facility performance reviews to leadership.
Success Metrics
  • Facility uptime % across nodes.
  • % adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
  • SLA compliance % of vendors (housekeeping, security, MHE).
  • OPEX reduction % through optimization.
  • Zero safety incidents and statutory compliance adherence.
  • On-time project delivery % (new sites / retrofits).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Facility Management / Operations.
  • 6-10+ years in facility management for large-scale warehouses or e-commerce hubs.
  • Proven track record in multi-site facility management.
  • Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and compliance handling.
  • Knowledge of EHS standards, fire safety norms, ISO/5S practices.
  • Experience in implementing sustainability projects (energy, water, waste).
