Job Description

Corporate Treasury (CT) Data Management (DM) is responsible for bridging and remediating the data quality gaps at granular product level keeping in mind the liquidity, Capital and balance sheet management reported to regulators as well as to internal executive management for liquidity/Capital monitoring and measurement, Internal liquidity stress Testing and Capital Adequacy forecasts needed to compensate by the virtue of Data Quality Gaps with the help of Adjustments on daily, weekly and Monthly basis to assure the Accuracy and completeness of the regulatory reports as per BCBS Guidelines.

Supporting Global Liquidity Reporting team to enrich the liquidity reporting by performing Daily, weekly and Monthly Non Automated Data Enhancements to cover data Gaps and also needs to perform set of controls for reference data management at product and reference data level, data controls and data validations and reconciliations are to achieve a greater control on data prior the submission of Liquidity reports regulators and to support the Capital Adequacy process
The role will involve collaborating with multiple on-shore business partners across the bank to understand different reporting systems. The candidate will be required to understand the liquidity reports and need to proactively engage with the on-shore change management and technology teams responsible for improving our data quality and assist efforts on feed development / enhancement and overall process design to close the gaps identified. Also, candidate need to work on regulatory reports based on BASEL-III LCR requirements.

Responsibilities*
Analyze and reconcile data in Liquidity & Capital Risk systems and investigate differences.
Review team deliverables by performing set of controls to ensure the accuracy of liquidity reports as per BASEL framework in relevance to FED and PRA regulators
Understand the latest regulatory changes and to implement them as per the latest taxonomy and other regulatory chnages as proposed in an timely manner Quarter on Quarter or on adhoc basis
Validates data and signs off on reports within test environments to confirm Business Intelligence tool accuracy, functionality and Enterprise Data Management Standards (EDM) are met
Understand, explore and achieve the scope of automation and remediation after coordinating with downstream and upstream stakeholders like middle office, finance and treasury operation and other related business functions
Engagement with Global liquidity Management and treasury data management SME and other stakeholders to discuss the new requirements via intake forms and to understand the new requirements along with the expansion on validation and analytical process.
Partnering with external and internal auditors to drive the soundness and successfully execution of internal control programs
Coordinate initial escalation and reporting management to address exceptions, threshold breaches and data quality/data gap remediation
Engage with business and technical stakeholders at varied levels to align on key objectives and provide data control oversight and proactively escalate and mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to applicable regulators and policies
Assessing and documenting internal control weaknesses for SOX and Regulatory Reporting
environments in various areas of the bank (Finance, Middle Office, Operations and Treasury) to enable comparison with data held in Liquidity risk system
Work with business partners to expand data validation and analytical processes
Compile findings and produce reporting as required for management and/or regulatory. Good understanding of BASEL-III for Capital and LCR requirements.
Quantify and articulate data integrity issues
Engaging with technology, middle office, finance and operations teams to remediate issues
Interaction with Line of Business and other business partners to discuss any issues.

Education*
CA/ ICWA/ MBA Finance or equivalent qualifications
Certifications If Any

Experience Range*
7-10 years of Finance & Accounts which includes 4 years of Regulatory/Capital reporting experience

Foundational skills*
Good understanding of Regulatory /Liquidity reporting/Capital reporting
Advanced MS Excel
Experience in driving change process/ re-engineering & automations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility to deal with multiple concurrent issues and tasks - ability to self-manage and prioritize
Desired skills
Working knowledge of Tableau/ Alteryx/ Ui Path/ SQL
Education: Any Graduate
