Job Description

The Manager - MEPF Design will lead the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting (MEPF) design team, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable engineering solutions for projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate across disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership

Lead and oversee MEPF design development from concept to execution. Ensure compliance with national and international codes, standards, and best practices. Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and calculations.

Project Management

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to integrate MEPF systems seamlessly. Manage timelines, deliverables, and resources for multiple projects simultaneously. Conduct design reviews and value engineering exercises to optimize cost and performance.

Technical Expertise

Provide guidance on HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing systems, fire protection, and sustainable design practices. Evaluate new technologies and innovative solutions for energy efficiency and safety. Ensure designs meet client requirements and statutory approvals.

Team & Stakeholder Management

Mentor and manage a team of engineers and draftsmen. Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues. Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.

Quality & Compliance

Implement quality assurance processes for design deliverables. Ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).

Experience:

15-20 years in MEPF design, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and design software. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Familiarity with green building standards (LEED, GRIHA, IGBC).

Soft Skills:

Leadership and team management. Strong communication and presentation skills. Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Location

Based in BHOPAL /DELHI Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
