Position Manager- Medical Underwriting No. Of Positions 1 Department Operations Function Underwriting Reporting to Chief Manager Band 4 Location Gurgaon Last Date of Submission: Appraise medical risks for life insurance application Underwrite new and existing business (customer- money generating source) Recommend, accept, reject insurance coverage within limits set in the underwriting policy Handle routine and non-routine and renewal cases Assessing financial documents and summarize the same. Participate in production and channel management activities Team management, ensuring no attrition and maintaining optimal employee engagement. Perform regular quality of team members to ensure high accuracy levels - Direct reporting & span of control Building partnership and liaison with business partner for smooth processing of insurance proposals from underwriting Conduct training for the team, operations and distribution for aligning latest guidelines and processes Measure of Success: Ensure adherence of TAT for underwriting of proposals Adhere to all regulatory requirements and reports exception. Lead team of motivated professionals aligned to company goals Manage internal and external stakeholders in terms of CSAT and DSAT.
