- Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Greenfield Project Experience)

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the Greenfield project phase and later during plant operations. Develop and implement preventive & predictive maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime. Supervise erection and commissioning activities of machinery, utilities, and support equipment. Coordinate with project, design, and vendor teams for smooth execution of Greenfield activities. Ensure availability of spares, consumables, and critical tools for uninterrupted operations. Troubleshoot breakdowns and provide quick, cost-effective solutions. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, maintenance reports, and compliance records. Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory guidelines, and environmental norms. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in equipment efficiency and maintenance cost optimization. Lead a team of technicians, provide training, and ensure skill development. ETP & STP maintenance and support.

After completion of the Greenfield project, the selected candidate will be absorbed into the maintenance team and regular plant activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems: pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, rotating & static equipment. Hands-on experience in erection, installation, and commissioning of plant machinery. Proficiency in preventive & predictive maintenance tools (TPM, RCM, CMMS, etc.). Good understanding of utilities - boilers, chillers, HVAC, piping, water systems. Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Exposure to Greenfield/brownfield project execution.

Knowledge and experience in Extrusion process and machinery.

Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of safety practices, statutory compliance, and ISO standards.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. 15 - 20 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance and Greenfield Project execution.

Other Requirements

Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced project environments.

Pay: ?75,000.00 - ?150,000.00 per month
