Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee
inbound logistics sales operations
through call centre channels.
Handle inbound enquiries related to
freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, transportation, and value-added logistics services
.
Develop and execute
sales and marketing strategies
to convert inbound leads into confirmed logistics business.
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of
inbound sales executives and team leaders
.
Ensure timely response to customer enquiries, accurate quotation sharing, and effective follow-ups.
Coordinate closely with
operations, pricing, and customer service teams
to ensure feasible and competitive offerings.
Track and analyze inbound sales performance, lead conversion ratios, and revenue targets.
Prepare and present
daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
to management.
Ensure adherence to service quality standards, SOPs, and compliance requirements in logistics sales.
Support management in business development initiatives and market expansion.
Training & Team Development
Design and conduct
training programs
on logistics products, inbound sales techniques, customer handling, and CRM usage.
Coach team members on objection handling, negotiation, and closing of logistics deals.
Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
Maintain a high-performance and customer-centric sales culture.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of
inbound logistics sales processes
.
Excellent
communication skills in Hindi and English
(verbal and written).
Proven
team leadership and people management
experience.
Knowledge of
freight forwarding, customs procedures, INCOTERMS, pricing basics, and logistics documentation
.
Hands-on experience with
CRM systems and call centre KPIs
.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's degree in
Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
.
Minimum
5 years of experience
in
call centre-based logistics sales & marketing
.
At least
2 years in a managerial or team-leading role
in inbound sales.
Prior experience in freight forwarding, CHA, or 3PL sales is highly preferred.
