Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager Manufacturing Engineering to lead our manufacturing engineering operations in electrical and electronics parts manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing greenfield project setups, and implementing advanced manufacturing systems to achieve world-class productivity, quality, and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Operations & Strategy
Lead and manage manufacturing engineering teams to optimize production processes for electrical and electronics components
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives and market demands
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality metrics
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and delivery standards
Greenfield Project Management
Plan, execute, and manage greenfield manufacturing facility setups from concept to production
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and construction for new plant establishments
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans for facility development
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards during facility setup
Process Engineering & Optimization
Design and implement Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) for new and existing manufacturing lines
Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify and mitigate potential risks
Develop comprehensive Control Plans to ensure consistent product quality and process stability
Lead line balancing initiatives to optimize workflow and eliminate bottlenecks
Capacity Planning & Analysis
Calculate and analyze plant capacity requirements based on production forecasts and market demand
Develop line capacity calculations for individual manufacturing lines and work centers
Prepare detailed capacity planning reports and recommendations for management decision-making
Conduct capacity utilization analysis and identify opportunities for capacity optimization
Model various production scenarios to determine optimal capacity configurations
Coordinate with sales and planning teams to align capacity with business requirements
Automation & Technology Integration
Drive automation initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce manual interventions
Evaluate, select, and implement advanced manufacturing technologies and equipment
Collaborate with suppliers and technology partners for automation solutions
Ensure seamless integration of automated systems with existing manufacturing processes
Equipment Development & Line Setup
Lead equipment development projects from specification to commissioning
Manage equipment finalization processes including validation, qualification, and acceptance testing
Oversee manufacturing line setup and layout optimization for maximum efficiency
Coordinate with maintenance teams to establish preventive maintenance programs
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Implement robust quality management systems and statistical process control methods
Lead cross-functional improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including OEE, yield, cycle time, and quality metrics
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and mentor manufacturing engineering team members
Provide technical guidance and support for complex engineering challenges
Develop team capabilities through training programs and skill development initiatives
Collaborate with HR for workforce planning and talent acquisition
Required QualificationsEducation & Experience
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical/electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Minimum10-15 years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles within electrical/electronics industry.
Minimum 2-3 years of managerial experience leading engineering teams
Technical Expertise
Extensive experience in automotive, electrical and electronics parts manufacturing processes
Proven track record in greenfield project setup and facility development
Strong knowledge of automation technologies, and Industry 4.0 concepts
Expertise in line balancing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles
Proficient in PFD development, PFMEA analysis, and Control Plan implementation
Advanced skills in plant capacity planning and line capacity calculation methodologies
Expertise in capacity modeling, utilization analysis, and production planning systems
Core Competencies
Strong project management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF16949, )
Experience with Auto CAD software.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in automotive, electricals systems, or electronics manufacturing
Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations in manufacturing

Pay: ?90,000.00 - ?125,000.00 per month
