Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced
Maintenance Manager
to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our aqua feed manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical engineering with strong hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance in a feed mill or similar process industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment.
Lead a team of maintenance technicians and ensure effective resource planning and task allocation.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair critical machinery such as pellet mills, hammer mills, extruders, conveyors, and boilers.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and statutory requirements.
Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, and procurement of equipment/services.
Collaborate with the production and quality teams to reduce downtime and improve machine efficiency.
Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance plant reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
Maintain maintenance records and reports for audits and internal use.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for AMC, project installations, and specialized repairs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of industrial maintenance experience; preference will be given to those with experience in the
Aqua Feed/Animal Feed/Process Industry
.
Strong technical knowledge of feed machinery and utilities (boilers, compressors, motors, gearboxes, etc.).
Familiarity with Auto Cad is an advantage.
Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
