Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Manager (Legal)
to oversee and manage the company's legal affairs. The role involves
drafting and reviewing contracts
,
conducting legal research
, and
providing comprehensive legal assistance
to the legal team. The ideal candidate will be capable of maintaining a strong legal posture while delivering actionable and strategic legal advice that safeguards the company's interests. This position will work closely with the executive leadership to translate complex legal requirements into practical business strategies, ensuring sustainable and compliant corporate growth.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and provide inputs on various agreements and legal documents.
Conduct in-depth legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and judicial precedents.
Monitor changes in applicable laws and assist in developing internal policies to ensure compliance.
Support the Legal Head in managing potential or ongoing litigation, including evidence gathering, liaising with external counsel, and maintaining legal documentation.
Provide day-to-day legal support and ensure all company operations are in compliance with legal standards.
Prepare reports, summaries, and recommendations on legal matters affecting the organization.
Qualifications
Education:
LLB / LLM
Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience in corporate legal affairs
Registration:
Must be registered with the Bar Council
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of corporate and commercial law
Basic drafting and court appearance experience
Excellent legal research and analytical skills
Effective communication and negotiation abilities
