Manager - Legal and Compliance Solutions Location: Hyderabad, India #LI-Hybrid About the Role: Our Legal and Compliance Solutions team is looking for legal professionals who will Independently support all types of Compliance and Contract management deliverables aligned with various Divisions/Functions. Key Responsibilities: .Draft and negotiate agreements, including contracts related to HCP engagements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements, Services Task Orders etc. Support Compliance and Operational related activities involving compliance risk analysis, compliance audit readiness, Compliance monitoring and reporting and working on internal tool maintained by Novartis to enable the compliance operations. .Supports Legal functions and provide value to business, drive predictability through legal reporting and analysis, invoice and payment support, Vendor Management/verification.Use negotiations experience with proven track record of success to follow contracts through negotiations to closure and ongoing maintenance. .Coordinate with global, regional as well as country stakeholders for contract management projects and manage deliverables as assigned. Create strong partnership with internal clients and stakeholders.Ensure high level of Client satisfaction through effective management of client demand and development of client specific solutions. .Follows and tracks key deliverable and milestones for assigned projects. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of KPI\'s for transparency between client and Legal and Compliance Solutions team.Bring best practices, speed and efficiency to the contracting process by process re-engineering, use of effective knowledge management. .Build and drive strong contracts and obligation management process to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions and manage associated risks. Support contract audits and monitor activities on contract risk and compliance.Use advance knowledge of drafting and negotiations to develop playbooks and fall-back positions for a wide variety of contracts. .Develop, revise and standardize contract templates and playbooks.Help in designing solutions for contract drafting and negotiations projects.Perform quality checks (QC) to ensure team meets agreed quality KPIs.Comply with and support group\'s project management tool, standards, policies and initiatives. .Follow Novartis specifications, policies, guidelines and country specific guidelines for preparation and execution of contracts.Works closely with various stakeholders and design deliverable and a comprehensive derivable plan. Ensure timely, efficient, high-quality delivery for projects and activities. .Provide regular updates on the delivery progress to the clients, leadership team and other stakeholders. Minimum Requirements Essential Requirements: .Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Law .5-8 years of overall work experience .Strong drafting and negotiation skills, Contract Management .Effective communication/knowledge/Best Practice sharing. Strong team player who is dynamic and result oriented .Good project management skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.Familiarity with quality KPIs and operational issues/management .Effective training skills.
