Position Overview :

GIST is seeking a highly motivated and experienced People Manager with a specialized focus on Learning and Development (L&D) to join their team. You will be responsible for supporting various human resources functions while also taking a lead role in designing and implementing comprehensive learning and development programs for GIST. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to integrate sustainability practices into their HR initiatives, contributing to their commitment to environmental responsibility and positive social impact.

Responsibilities :

1. Learning and Development (80% of role)

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify organizational training needs and develop a strategic L&D plan

- Take a hands-on approach in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs, including onboarding, leadership development, technical skills training, and other employee development initiatives

- Leverage innovative methodologies such as immersive training, microlearning, and gamification to create engaging and impactful learning experiences for the GIST team

- Employ a more standard approach utilizing e-learning modules, workshops, and mentorship programs where proven and effective

- Continuously explore emerging trends and best practices in L&D, adapting and implementing them to meet the unique needs of GIST\'s training-intensive culture

- Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives through regular feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement

2. HR Generalist Functions (20% of role)

- Provide hands-on HR support and guidance to employees and management on various HR policies, procedures, and programs, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment

- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, employee engagement initiatives, and diversity and inclusion programs

- Serve as a trusted resource for employees, addressing and resolving concerns, conflicts, and other employee relations issues

- Generate HR reports, analyze data, and provide insights to support decision-making and identify trends or areas for improvement

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on learning and development, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment

- Strong knowledge of learning and development principles, methodologies, and best practices, with hands-on experience in designing and delivering innovative training programs

- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing comprehensive training programs

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels

- Proven hands-on organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and generate meaningful insights

- Fluency in MS Office and productivity tools

Note: This is a hybrid role, but we require a minimum of 2 days in person working from GIST\'s Noida location every week.
