We are seeking an experienced Crusher Unit Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our quarry and rock crushing unit in Palakkad. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quarrying and crushing operations, statutory documentation, license renewals, and liaison activities with government and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise quarrying and rock crushing operations to ensure smooth production and efficiency.
Plan and execute production schedules in line with material requirements.
Oversee maintenance and repairs of plant machinery, crushers, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental, mining, and safety regulations.
Handle documentation, records, and reporting related to quarry operations.
Manage license renewals and statutory approvals, including mining, pollution control, explosives, and labour licenses.
Coordinate liaison activities with government departments, regulatory authorities, and local bodies.
Monitor inventory of raw materials, consumables, and spare parts.
Manage workforce, contractors, and labour arrangements at the quarry site.
Implement safety standards and conduct periodic safety audits.
Control operational costs and optimize plant performance.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma/Degree in Mining, Mechanical, Civil, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum
5-10 years experience
in quarrying and rock crushing operations.
Hands-on experience in documentation, statutory compliance, and license renewals.
Good knowledge of Kerala quarry regulations, environmental norms, and mining laws.
Experience in liaison work with government departments and regulatory bodies.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Other Requirements
Must be willing to travel locally for liaison and statutory work.
Ability to handle onsite workforce and operational challenges.
Preference for candidates with experience in Palakkad or Kerala quarry sector.
