Job Summary:

As a Manager and Developer Lead specializing in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Java development, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of cloud-native applications and integrations on SAP BTP. You will manage a team of developers, collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, and drive best practices in Java-based SAP solutions to support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and performant applications on SAP BTP using Java technologies. Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging SAP BTP services such as SAP Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and SAP Integration Suite. Manage, mentor, and guide a team of Java developers to deliver high-quality software components. Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and clients to translate business requirements into technical designs. Drive adoption of agile development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles in SAP BTP projects. Oversee code reviews, unit testing, performance optimization, and deployment activities. Ensure seamless integration of SAP BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA, third-party systems, and APIs. Support pre-sales and client engagement activities through technical presentations, demos, and solution workshops. Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP offerings, Java frameworks, and cloud technologies to continuously improve delivery capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of software development experience with at least 4 years in Java development. Strong expertise in SAP BTP platform services and cloud-native application development. Hands-on experience with Java EE, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with SAP Cloud Foundry, Kyma, SAP Integration Suite, and related SAP BTP components. Proven experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise-grade SAP solutions. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.). Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. SAP certifications related to BTP and Java development are a plus.

Preferred:

Experience integrating SAP BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP cloud solutions. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure. Prior consulting experience with Big Four or global professional services firms. * Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., SAP UI5/Fiori, React) is an added advantage.
