Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager, IT Quality Assurance to lead our QA team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in quality assurance principles, hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, and proven success as a people manager. This role requires expertise in test automation frameworks, modern testing tools, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in QA processes across a diverse technology landscape.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Define team goals, manage performance, and support career development. Quality Assurance Strategy Develop and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices across projects. Ensure compliance with organizational and industry quality standards. Testing Execution Oversee planning and execution of manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API applications. Ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely defect resolution. Automation & Tools Drive adoption and optimization of test automation frameworks and tools. Hands-on experience with tools such as Playwright, CRT, and other modern automation solutions. Heterogeneous Application Landscape Manage QA activities for a mix of applications, including SaaS platforms, homegrown systems, web applications, and enterprise solutions. Ensure tailored QA approaches for different architectures and technology stacks. Collaboration Work closely with development, product, and operations teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC. Participate in release planning and risk assessment. Continuous Improvement Monitor QA metrics and identify areas for process improvement. Stay updated on emerging QA trends and technologies.

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role. Strong foundation in QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect management. Proven experience in manual and automated testing. Expertise in test automation frameworks and scripting languages. Hands-on experience with tools like Playwright, CRT, Selenium, or similar. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing QA for heterogeneous application environments (SaaS, custom-built, web apps).

Preferred QualificationsExperience in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation tools. Familiarity with cloud-based testing solutions.
