Job Family Descriptor 1. Identify critical flaws in applications and systems that cyber attackers could exploit 2. Should be able to conduct vulnerability assessments for networks, Servers, applications and operating systems 3. Conduct network security audits and scanning on a predetermined basis 4. Hands on to use automated tools (e.g. Nessus) to pinpoint vulnerabilities and reduce time-consuming tasks 5. Should be able to use all the manual as well automated tools. 6. Use manual testing techniques and methods to gain a better understanding of the environment and reduce false negatives. 7. Develop, test and modify custom scripts and applications for vulnerability testing 8. Compile and track vulnerabilities over time for metrics purposes. 9. Ability to write and present a comprehensive Vulnerability Assessment report. 10. Hands on with Nessus, Kali Linux and Qualys guard tools. Broad outline of the Role 1. Education Qualification - B.E/ B. Tech/MCA with minimum 8 years relevant experience in field of web applications or Mobile applications. 2. Possession of recognized industry certification- VA PT related Certification 3. Possess an impeccable work ethic and a high degree of integrity 4. Good understanding of Information Security domain 5. Good Analytical & Problem Solving skills 6. Able to communicate with technical staff/management 7. Flexible to work in extended hours if required 8. Continuous learning & flexible approach
