Inviting applications for the role of Manager IT, Non Financial Risk Management (NFRM)
The IT Manager leads delivery for a Large Global Insurance Company across its Non Financial Risk Management (NFRM) framework, with a focus on Risk and Control assessment (RCA) and Control Testing.
This role oversees a team of Consultants and Senior Consultants, ensuring high quality execution, review, and governance of NFRM activities.
Managers are responsible for end to end planning, resource allocation, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining delivery rigor. The role requires strong subject matter expertise, team leadership, and the ability to operate independently within a global risk environment.
Responsibilities
1. RCA (Risk & Control Assessment) - Leadership & Review

• Execute end?to?end risk assessments across complex IT and Cyber risk areas
• Apply professional judgement to assess risk impact, control sufficiency, and residual risk
• Integrate assessment outcomes into testing scope and control focus areas

2. Control Testing - Oversight & Quality Control

• Own end?to?end control testing execution of ITGC, ITAC, and Cyber resilience testing--planning, walkthroughs, testing, and documentation.
• Define testing approaches, sampling strategies, and evidence expectations
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of IT controls across ERP, databases, networks, cloud environments, and applications.
• Evaluate controls related to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) and IT Service Management (ITSM)
• Personally execute judgement?heavy tests and conclude on design and operating effectiveness
• Assess exceptions and perform first?level conclusions on operating effectiveness
• Drive remediation discussions with business stakeholders for control failures

3. Delivery Management, Stakeholder Alignment & Governance

• Own audit?ready RCA and testing documentation with end?to?end traceability
• Produce management?ready summaries highlighting key risks, control weaknesses, and remediation priorities
• Escalate systemic or repeat issues to senior stakeholders
• Coach and supervise team members on execution standards and documentation quality

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Management strongly preferred

Preferred qualifications & Relevant Experience

• Relevant experience in IT risk management, IT audit, ITGC/ITAC testing, and cybersecurity
• Demonstrated hands on experience in executing and reviewing IT and cyber risk assessments and control testing across multiple technology risk domains
• Working knowledge of IT/Cyber risk areas, ERP systems, cloud platforms and security frameworks
• Preferred certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, ITIL, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, cloud certifications or MBA typically expected
• IT Audit

• Cyber resilience
• IT Risk & Compliance
• Business Continuity Management
• Shared Services / GBS audit or assurance teams
