The Director - IT Infrastructure, Network & Cyber Security is responsible for
end-to-end ownership, strategy, governance, and operational excellence
of the organization's IT infrastructure, enterprise networks, endpoint/peripheral ecosystems, firewall architecture, and cyber security posture.This role defines and executes
long-term technology vision
, ensures
business continuity
, safeguards
information assets
, and aligns IT operations with organizational growth, compliance, and risk management objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure Leadership
Define and drive the
enterprise infrastructure strategy
covering data centers, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
Oversee
capacity planning, performance optimization, scalability, and lifecycle management
of infrastructure assets.
Ensure
high availability, redundancy, and resilience
of critical business systems.
Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives including
cloud migration, hybrid models, and automation
.
2. Network Architecture & Operations
Own enterprise
LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, SD-WAN, and internet connectivity architecture
across all locations.
Ensure
secure, high-performance, and scalable network design
supporting business growth and remote workforce.
Govern network monitoring, uptime SLAs, incident response, and vendor performance.
Lead network transformation initiatives focused on
zero-trust, segmentation, and optimization
.
3. Peripheral & Endpoint Ecosystem Management
Oversee management of
endpoints and peripherals
including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, IoT devices, and access systems.
Define
standardization, hardening, patching, and endpoint security policies
.
Govern
MDM, endpoint protection platforms, and device lifecycle management
.
Ensure secure onboarding/offboarding of devices and users.
4. Firewall & Security Infrastructure Ownership
Architect and govern
firewall frameworks
(NGFW, WAF, internal segmentation firewalls).
Define policies for
traffic control, intrusion prevention, threat detection, and secure access
.
Ensure firewall rule governance, audits, and continuous optimization.
Integrate firewall systems with SIEM, SOC, and threat intelligence platforms.
5. Cyber Security Strategy & Governance
Define and execute the organization's
cyber security strategy and roadmap
.
Lead security programs across
network security, endpoint security, identity & access management (IAM), data security, and application security
.
Own
incident response, breach management, root cause analysis, and remediation
.
Establish and enforce
security policies, standards, and controls
aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA (as applicable).
Oversee vulnerability management, penetration testing, and risk assessments.
6. Risk, Compliance & Business Continuity
Act as the primary owner of
IT risk management and cyber risk posture
.
Ensure compliance with
regulatory, contractual, and internal audit requirements
.
Own
Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
and
Disaster Recovery (DR)
strategies and execution.
Report security risks, incidents, and mitigation plans to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
