POSITION SUMMARY

Incumbent should be highly proficient in the discipline of software development, project management, business partnering, vendor management and team development. Incumbent will lead teams to deliver solutions for multiple Textron Business units on various Web and Mobile platforms. He/she will be collaborating with Stakeholders, Architects, Team Leads, Developers, Vendors, Business Partners and Program Managers to deliver high quality software that meets and exceeds project requirements.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and program management to define and prioritize PLM 3DX implementation, Enterprise PLM upgrade and any Custom Development Work
  • Responsible for managing sustainment activities for TIPL supported Custom Dev Applications
  • Responsible for coordinating and managing sustainment activities on deployed 13XE and FVL 3DX PLM environments
  • Maintain currency and resolve vulnerabilities on Custom Dev applications and servers.
  • Ability to follow Bell PMO process for projects and present the projects at the Bell Monthly Project review monthly meetings for awareness and visibility
  • Work with IT and HR Management to define and recruit top talent from universities
  • Set up performance goals for team members, evaluate performance, provide coaching and facilitate professional development
  • Develop leaders and highly functional teams. Develop a collaborative and stimulating work environment
  • Project scheduling and resource management
  • Conduct performance reviews of team members and identify areas of improvement, give feedback, and recommend for promotions or salary increments
  • Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources, follow PMO process and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner
  • Ability to work with the Bell ITLT team to understand priorities regarding application currency, roadmap and execute according to plan.
  • Ability to manage change and effectively pass on the information down the line to concerned teams for smoother execution
  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance
  • Effectively lead teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality, and excellence
  • Encourage team interaction, boost employee motivation, and appreciate team contribution
  • Ability to match project tasks with opportunities for development so that employee potential is utilized to the maximum
  • Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies, and documentation requirements across project phases
  • Must provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members
  • Designing training programs and workshops for staff, identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Information technology domain, out of which at least 3 years of experience is in managing teams on project execution
  • Experience working with Business Partners and product managers to identify business needs and translate into Project Requirements
  • Experience managing various project life cycles, PMO process, software design methodologies, resource allocation, on-time deliveries, and Communication
  • Prior experience on Project Management, custom developed applications, PLM Applications or SAP Application.

Qualifications - External

Minimum 10 years of experience in the Information technology domain, out of which at least 4 years in the areas of Web Technologies. Working knowledge on PMO process is a plus.
