The Manager (Counselor & Operations) will be responsible for providing end-to-end counseling support to students and parents, promoting educational opportunities, and managing admissions and visa-related operations. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate efficiently with internal teams to deliver a seamless student experience.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counseling & Engagement
Conduct face-to-face and virtual counseling sessions with students and parents to understand academic interests and career goals.
Provide accurate guidance on overseas education options, admission requirements, and application timelines.
Engage with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and events to generate and nurture leads.
Admissions & Documentation Management
Assist students in preparing, reviewing, and submitting university applications.
Guide students & Parents through visa application processes, including documentation and compliance requirements.
Ensure all applications and documents are complete, accurate, and submitted within deadlines.
Event Promotion & Outreach
Promote and coordinate webinars, seminars, education fairs, and information sessions.
Support student participation in counseling events and promotional activities.
Operations & Coordination
Maintain accurate records of student interactions, application status, and follow-ups using CRM systems.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth processing of admissions and visas.
Provide regular updates to students and parents, ensuring transparency and high satisfaction levels.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, presentable demeanor.
Fluency in English; working knowledge of Marathi or Hindi preferred.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
Minimum 8 years of experience in student counseling, admissions, education consultancy, or a related role (preferred).
