Job Description

We have an urgent opening for the position Manager Industrial Designer for a reputed Company in Design Industry at New Delhi(Gurgaon) location.:

• This is a leadership position in Company.
• The incumbent will lead the team of industrial designers.
• The incumbent will be responsible for managing the projects and interacting with the client. Will be responsible to run the design function and reporting to the Studio Head.
• He/she should have excellent creative and problem-solving abilities with in-depth knowledge in plastics and manufacturing. He/she should be a people\xe2\x80\x99s person with great intrapersonal skills supplemented with CRM capabilities.
• Knowledge of 3D design software(s) is mandatory.
• Necessary documentation and record maintaining capabilities.
• Time management and handling multiple projects at a time.
• Reporting and updating the studio head on a regular basis.
• Taking ownership of the projects
• Keeping the Designs team updated with the latest trends, materials and technologies.

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, setting project timelines, budgets, and priorities. Ensure that all design projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Recruit, train, and mentor industrial designers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the design team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketing, to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling design concepts.
• Oversee the creation of prototypes and mock-ups to evaluate and refine design concepts. Conduct usability testing and gather feedback for design improvements.
• Maintain and enforce design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across product lines and adherence to the company\'s brand identity.
• Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to incorporate relevant design elements into new product development.

• Manage the budget for the design department, including resource allocation, cost control, and forecasting.

• Prototyping knowledge is appreciated.
