Role Overview

We are seeking a

strong Industrial / Physical Product Designer

to lead the design of consumer electronic and durable products from concept to production. This role demands deep expertise in

CMF, 3D CAD design, manufacturability, and physical product aesthetics

, along with the ability to balance creativity with real-world production constraints.

The role involves close collaboration with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric physical products.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive the

design vision

across multiple consumer product categories Lead

end-to-end industrial design

, from concept ideation to mass production Drive

CMF (Color, Material, Finish)

strategy aligned with brand identity and user experience Create and refine

3D CAD designs

, prototypes, and design documentation Conduct user and market research to inform design decisions Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and quality Manage multiple design projects in parallel with strong attention to timelines and execution quality Work with external vendors, manufacturers, and design partners as required
Mandatory Criteria (Non-Negotiable)

5+ years of experience

designing

physical consumer electronics or consumer durable products

Very strong hands-on experience with

CMF (Color, Material, Finish)

for physical products Strong experience creating

3D designs using CAD tools

Proven experience taking products from

concept to production

Strong

industrial / physical product design portfolio

showcasing: Consumer products 3D look & feel CMF exploration and final manufactured outcomes Background in

Consumer Electronics, Mobility, Automotive, or New-age Hardware Startups

Design degree from NID Ahmedabad or an equivalent Tier-1 design institute

Preferred Background

Experience with globally recognized brands or premium consumer hardware companies (e.g., Consumer Electronics, Automotive, Mobility, Lifestyle Hardware) Strong understanding of

manufacturing processes, materials, tooling, and mass production constraints

Ability to balance

aesthetic excellence with engineering feasibility

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?2,700,000.00 - ?3,500,000.00 per year
