Skills:

Knowledge of Ind AS, tax laws, SAP, and internal controls. Knowledge of capex and operational expenditure reviews, project-related controls, and internal financial control systems.

Audit of Key Processes:

Perform audits of key organizational processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Supply Chain, EPC (Projects/Construction/Manufacturing processes), and Quality Management.

External Coordination & Compliance:

Coordinate with external firms, evaluate the quality and scope of their audits, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Internal Control & Testing:

Perform Internal Financial Control (IFC) testing as per the audit schedule and ensure all internal controls are adequately checked for their effectiveness and compliance.

Review of Project Sites & Controls:

Conduct regular site reviews to evaluate project controls and provide recommendations for improvement. Perform concurrent audits of all expenses related to the projects.

Financial Review & Monitoring:

Regularly review the trial balance of assigned units and scrutinize general ledgers, including vendor accounts. Perform follow-up reviews against open observations and ensure the closure of open audit plans.

Expense Auditing:

Review capex and operational expenses, including pre-operational and concurrent audits of all expenses incurred during the project lifecycle.

Tax Laws & Safeguarding Fixed Assets:

Ensure safeguarding of fixed assets at plants by checking controls. Stay updated on tax laws to ensure compliance and cost-effective tax management.

Site Visits & Audit Execution:

Travel to project sites as and when required to conduct on-site audits, ensuring that controls are followed and expenses are in line with approved budgets.
