Job Description


:The Immigration & Mobility Manager will work closely with the GTUS Associate Director Immigration & Mobility to coordinate, design and deliver a strategic approach to managing immigration, assignments, and relocation programs for GTUS. They will ensure effective and responsive delivery of immigration & mobility support and services. Will be accountable for leading the operational delivery of Global Mobility & Immigration services to include, International Assignments, Permanent International Hires, Relocations, International Remote Work Requests and Domestic relocation services.Core Responsibilitiesxc2xb7 Manage, develop and inspire the INDUS team, to deliver an exceptional customer focused service to enable the talent strategy of the organization, through location changes.xc2xb7 Responsible for ensuring the Immigration & Mobility services are delivered in compliance with both internal and external regulations that meets tax, immigration, legal, and governance standards.xc2xb7 Manage immigration lifecycle for all the applicants and identified resources (work visas and permanent residencies proficient in managing H/L Visas).xc2xb7 Ability to clearly interact with and advise managers and leaders on complex immigration matters. Educate managers and business partners on immigration issues, strategies, and guidelines.xc2xb7 Respond to a high volume of global emails and phone calls to communicate policy, and procedures, and resolve immigration, relocation, and assignment.xc2xb7 Leads and partners with cross-functional stakeholders & HRBPs on team projects to improve immigration function.xc2xb7 Develop, implement, and execute immigration & mobility programs, policies, and proceduresxc2xb7 Architect the mobility experience from start to finish of an employee move or immigration processxc2xb7 Partner with HRBPs, managers and business leaders to promote and drive usage of mobility programsxc2xb7 Assess immigration compliance-related matters and provide advice as needed to business partners and vendorsxc2xb7 Partner with People & Culture teams and vendors to ensure effective daily administration of immigration & mobility related tasksxc2xb7 Partner with stakeholders to triage exception requests and escalationsxc2xb7 Monitor key data from relocation, tax, and immigration providers, along with assignee and traveler surveys; identify potential trends and offer cost effective solutions to drive efficiency and effectivenessxc2xb7 Report to leadership on program activity, performance and costThe ideal candidate will be:xc2xb7 Analytical Skills - The ability to collect information and identify fundamental patterns/trends in data. This includes knowledge of industry, state and federal laws to enable Mobility programs that add business value.xc2xb7 Have strong teamwork and collaborative skills while working in a dynamic and fast paced multinational organizationxc2xb7 Experience with a High-growth start-up or an organization that is rapidly scalingThe ideal candidate will possess:xc2xb7 Bachelors Degreexc2xb7 At least 10+ years of global mobility and immigration-related work experience; Min. 7+ years of experience in U.S. Immigration non-immigrant & immigrant visas;xc2xb7 2+ years of leading projects/people experiencexc2xb7 Experience modernizing a corporate mobility function, including enhanced systems integrationxc2xb7 Experience with executing and managing immigration assessments and applicationsxc2xb7 Mobility/immigration/relocation experience on in-house and in a consultancy or with a vendorxc2xb7 Be a proactive self-starter with an analytical and data driven approach; with the ability to improve and optimize systems and processes.xc2xb7 Experience working in a role that requires a high degree of confidentialityxc2xb7 High level of organizational skills and attention to detailxc2xb7 Excellent written and oral communicationxc2xb7 Experience should come from an in-house corporate setting or immigration firm experienceAbout Company:xe2x80x98Grant Thornton INDUS comprises GT U.S. Shared Services Center India Pvt Ltd and Grant Thornton U.S. Knowledge and Capability Center India Pvt Ltd.
