Team and Position Summary:

Items & Inventory: This is the team that ensures our customers receive their orders as fast as they want and where they want, in a friction-less, predictable way. Build reusable SaaS products and services that manage our catalog and power end-to-end inventory management, ranging from replenishment and fulfilment to transportation. With end-to-end inventory management, ranging from replenishment and fulfilment to transportation, they provide our drivers and partners with the tools they need to get the right items, on time, in the right packaging to customers.

Our team is responsible for Supporting Wal-Mart in-house applications and 3rd Party applications on the Warehouse systems to make sure Warehouse operations are not interrupted due to any reasons. We interact with multiple teams across the company to provide scalable robust technical solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

Drive internal and external communications. End to end conceptualization, planning and implementation of targeted communication strategies for multiple functions in the organization

Work on a 360 degree communication approach to elevate the brand through various internal, external and digital touch points

Content development, editing and proofing of all communications that go out to associates as part of any event/initiative/announcement/update/campaign. Create an effective content strategy to cascade information to associates through various channels

Develop the master narrative to create the right brand representation internally and externally

Communicate effectively with all internal stakeholders within Walmart to seek compelling stories

Develop existing communication channels such as Workplace, newsletter and ensure that they are dynamic and engaging

Drive leadership communication: Work and engage with leaders to come up with compelling ideas/initiatives that can enhance their connect with associates

Align with the processes within the team and collaborate to ensure seamless execution of deliverables

Develop the capability to manage a small team set up delivering high level of productivity and accuracy

Collaborate effectively with the events team to deliver event communication on time: Execute town halls and other key organizational events seamlessly

Develop strong synergy with Global communications team to drive impactful initiatives

Maintain good professional relationships with counterparts of engineering, platform support and end Users

Position Requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field

Minimum 12+ years of experience in Internal Communications and/or corporate communications

Minimum 12+ years of experience in building/supporting of large scale applications

Excellent content development skills with the ability to understand and connect with the target audience

Strong consultancy and negotiation skills

Creative skills: Brand and design knowledge, experience in writing, producing and/or editing video content

Strong understanding of campaign and stakeholder requirements, industry trends, brand impact and communication metrics

Ability to analyze and define a strategy for various internal initiatives to drive awareness, engagement, adoption and recall

Excellent project management and interpersonal skills

Process oriented. Should be able to adapt and work in a rapidly evolving tech environment

Prior experience in Internal Communications preferably with technology companies

Broad knowledge of External Communications, social, online and traditional media will be an advantage

Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge on ITSM, ServiceNow & JIRA tools

Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them

Automation experience

Ability to keep up with innovation in application design

Exceptional communication skills
