As a Manager II, IT Infrastructure with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc. Key Responsibilities Design and architect server and storage solutions aligned with business and IT strategy. Lead architecture for compute platforms (physical, virtual, and cloud-based). Design enterprise storage solutions including SAN, NAS, object storage, and software-defined storage. Define standards, best practices, and reference architecture for server and storage platforms. Evaluate, select, and integrate hardware, software, and cloud services. Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions. Optimize performance, capacity planning, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with network, cloud, security, and application teams. Provide technical leadership and guidance to infrastructure and operations teams. Support major infrastructure initiatives, migrations, and upgrades. Participate in vendor management, RFPs, and technology evaluations. Qualifications To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: Technical Skills Strong expertise in server platforms (x86, blade, HCI) Deep knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, DAS, Object Storage) Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of backup, recovery, and replication technologies Familiarity with software-defined storage (Ceph, vSAN, Nutanix, etc.) Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Ansible) Strong understanding of performance tuning and capacity management. Architecture & Design Experience designing scalable, highly available infrastructure. Knowledge of disaster recovery architectures (RPO/RTO). Understanding of security principles for infrastructure environments. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field. Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architecture.
