Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop the UST Fund and Data Reporting team, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of all funds, client, and regulatory reports.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate the end-to-end production cycle: allocation of workloads, daily stand-up meetings, monitoring deadlines and standards, and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Act as the primary escalation point for the UST team, resolving complex reporting, data or operational issues and liaising with the UK and Singapore oversight/leadership teams.
  • Ensure effective governance of all reporting processes, including sign-off controls, procedure maintenance, exception management, and root cause analysis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with global business stakeholders and external data/service providers, acting as UST's key contact for process queries, production issues, and delivery requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for automation, streamlining, and best-practice adoption; plan and implement efficiency projects aligned to global reporting strategy.
  • Ensure the maintenance and update of reporting templates, data sources, and technical documentation in line with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Support and contribute to new product launches, regulatory change projects, or digital platform migrations as the lead for UST operational readiness.
  • Monitor, report, and communicate Management Information (MI), KPIs, risks, and production issues both to local leadership and the designated UK/Singapore oversight teams.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development for the UST reporting team; drive high performance and collaborative culture.
  • Deputise for more senior reporting leaders as required and ensure effective succession planning and knowledge retention within the team.
  • Maintain a robust controls environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Schroders' standards of integrity and transparency.
  • Proactively keep up-to-date with regulatory and industry trends in fund/data reporting and implement changes as required locally.
Skills and Behaviours Required:
  • Extensive experience in fund reporting operations and demonstrable team leadership/people management in a global financial services or asset management environment. o Deep technical knowledge of fund structures, reporting processes, data requirements, and related regulatory & compliance obligations (regional/global). o Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment, including effective delegation, coaching and performance management. o Strong stakeholder management and communication skills--able to co-ordinate between local production and overseas oversight teams, and represent the UST team with authority. o Exceptional organisational skills with a focus on prioritisation, detail, and accuracy. o Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, able to investigate, resolve, and learn from issues efficiently. o Strong background in process improvement and change management, with experience implementing automation or technological solutions in reporting functions. o High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with reporting technologies and data platforms (e.g. Morningstar, SharePoint) an advantage. o High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. o Proactive, solutions-focused and adaptable in a fast-changing, dynamic environment. o Advanced client-centric approach, ensuring delivery aligns to needs and upholds the reputation of UST and Schroders globally. o Committed to building a positive, inclusive, and diverse team culture, supporting personal and professional growth for all team members.
