What will you do?
Lead a team of Software Engineers and guide them technically to realize project goals
Assign work to software Engineers in the team and evaluate and manages their performance.
Support to recruit engineering personnel, technical staffing and project teams formation.
Supervise engineering deliverables.
Manage continuing support and provide system metrics for client facing products.
Present project management backup as required.
Help translation of business requirements into technical needs and actions.
Supervise reporting responsibility for software engineers
Ensure software engineering personnel is suitably trained to perform all job function and suitably use project and software related tools.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Measure & track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

Skills:
A degree in B.E/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in E&C, E&E, CS, Telecommunication
12 years of experience in relevant
Strong Project and People Management experience having led teams of 5-10 people.
Excellent understanding of project management concepts, methodologies, and associated tools.
Experience leading embedded system projects through the development cycle to a successful conclusion.
Strong knowledge of Telecom/Networking domain with development experience in either of these domains
Excellent communication and client interaction skills
Comfortable working in a Linux Environment and having exposure to debugging tools like gdb, valgrind, gcov etc
Strong project planning and tracking capability using Microsoft Project & PLM tools.
Good understanding of various estimation techniques and methodologies.
Detailed working knowledge of Agile scrum methodologies and continuous S/W integration.
Strong risk and issues management, causal analysis, and decision analysis/resolution capability.
Ability to efficiently interface with cross functional teams and customers to successfully negotiate and meet project commitments.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to efficiently resolve team conflicts & roadblocks.
Experience working with automotive embedded systems is a plus.
Experience with Automotive SPICE and/or CMMI Level 3 processes will be added advantage.
