Your role in supplementing the Organisational goals:
1.Employer Acquisition & Relationship Management
Generate, build, and maintain strong local employer networks through calls, emails, and meetings.
Develop and sustain long-term working relationships with employers.
Conduct field visits and market scans to identify new local and mid-sized employers.
Handle
hyperlocal placements
by sourcing employers and opportunities for all PCMC Lighthouse centres.
2. Placement Strategy & Execution
Plan and manage in-house placement drives and job fairs in collaboration with corporate and skilling partners.
Achieve targeted youth placement numbers in line with organizational goals.
Line up students as per company requirements and ensure accurate pre-placement profiling.
Conduct pre-placement talks, orientation sessions, and follow-up activities pre- and post-placement.
Validate placement data from centers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Conduct one-to-one youth mapping and interaction, including interview preparation and screening for job readiness.
3. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain, monitor, and regularly update placement-related data.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal stakeholders.
Document placement tie-ups and maintain an updated recruiter database.
4. Special Focus Areas
Hyperlocal Placements: Identifying, sourcing, and building partnerships with local employers to create sustainable job opportunities for all PCMC Lighthouse centres.
Youth One-to-One Mapping: Guiding and preparing youth individually through interview preparation, job screening, and career readiness interactions.
Who We Are Looking For
Education:
Master's degree (preferred) in Development Studies, Training, HR, or related fields.
Experience:
Minimum 6 years in Placements/Corporate Relations, preferably in an NGO or youth skilling ecosystem.
Knowledge of local employers and job aggregators in the
PCMC/Pune region
.
Experience in employability skills, job placement, youth development, or vocational training (preferred).
Strong interpersonal and networking skills; presentable and confident in employer-facing roles.
Flexibility to manage extended working hours when required.
Proficient in
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
and
Google Workspace tools
.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work within deadlines and follow organizational guidelines.
