We are seeking a highly meticulous and knowledgeable
HR Manager
to lead statutory and labor law compliance across the organization. This role is crucial to ensure adherence to all legal obligations, minimize compliance risks, manage audits, and maintain proper documentation and employee welfare practices in accordance with regional and national regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Statutory Compliance & Labor Law Adherence
Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labor laws, including EPF, ESIC, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Minimum Wages Act, Shops & Establishment Act, and others.
Monitor changes in legislation (especially Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh UT) and ensure timely updates to internal policies.
Manage monthly and annual statutory filings - PF, ESI, PT, LWF, CLRA, and returns under various acts.
Audit & Inspection Management
Prepare for and lead all HR-related audits (labor department, PF, ESIC, Factory Inspector, etc.).
Ensure all statutory registers and returns are up-to-date and audit-ready.
Respond to inspection notices, handle legal queries, and represent the company before labor authorities when needed.
Vendor & Contract Labor Compliance
Oversee compliance of third-party vendors and manpower contractors under CLRA Act.
Maintain compliance records including Form V, Form XIII, license validation, wage registers, etc.
POSH & Grievance Redressal
Coordinate and support the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) for POSH compliance.
Ensure awareness, training, and proper record-keeping for POSH cases and reporting.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain proper documentation of employment contracts, HR policies, and compliance submissions.
Create compliance dashboards, risk assessments, and regular compliance health reports for leadership review.
Policy Development & Implementation
Draft, review, and implement HR policies ensuring legal conformity and practical enforcement.
Conduct policy communication and training sessions for all employees.
Key Skills & Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and regional acts (Chandigarh, Punjab & Haryana)
Experience handling compliance for manufacturing or multi-state setups
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and process rigor
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Excellent coordination with government officials, auditors, and external consultants
Familiarity with HR compliance software, SAP, HRMS, and Excel reporting
Educational Qualification:
MBA / PGDM in HR, or a degree in Law with specialization in Labor Laws (preferred)
