Job Description

Role Purpose
The HR Manager will act as a strategic HR Business Partner for CPG Head Office employees and the West Offline Distribution team, while also providing strong HR operational support. The role is designed to manage a growing employee base, strengthen talent retention, support hiring for offline distribution, and enable the central HR team to focus on organization-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Business Partnering

  • Act as the primary HR partner for CPG Head Office employees and West Offline Distribution teams.
  • Work closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Support workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, and people capability initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation, and people decisions.
2. Attrition Management & Talent Retention
  • Track and analyze attrition trends across CPG HO and West region teams.
  • Design and execute retention strategies for critical roles, especially in offline distribution.
  • Conduct exit interviews and derive actionable insights.
  • Partner with business leaders to improve engagement, morale, and productivity.
3. Employee Connect & Market Visits (10%)
  • Drive regular employee connects, skip-level meetings, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Conduct field and market visits for offline distribution teams to understand ground realities.
  • Strengthen HR presence and trust across corporate and field employees.
4. Talent Acquisition - Offline Distribution
  • Own end-to-end hiring for Offline Distribution roles in the West region.
  • Partner with TA teams, hiring managers, and external vendors to ensure timely and quality hiring.
  • Support manpower planning in line with business expansion.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and early-stage employee integration.
5. HR Projects & Central Initiatives
  • Support and independently manage central HR projects such as process improvements, policy rollouts, engagement programs, or HR tech initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional and central HR teams for standardization and best practices.
  • Help free leadership bandwidth by taking ownership of assigned HR initiatives.
Desired Profile: * 3-6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably as an HR Business Partner.
  • Strong exposure to distribution, sales, FMCG/CPG.
  • Experience handling both corporate and field employees.
  • Hands-on experience in talent acquisition, especially volume or frontline hiring
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for market visits.
