Oversee all administrative functions within the HR department, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
Ensure legal compliance:
Ensure all HR practices and policies comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Oversee HR systems and data:
Manage HR information systems (HRIS), maintain accurate employee records, and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Implement and refine policies:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies and procedures to support the organization's objectives.
Lead HR initiatives:
Spearhead projects, such as implementing new HR software or restructuring teams, to improve efficiency.
Manage employee lifecycle processes:
Oversee key processes like recruitment, onboarding, employee transfers, and offboarding.
Handle employee relations:
Address employee grievances, conflicts, and inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and labor laws.
Budget and finance:
Manage and approve the HR budget, and prepare detailed reports on HR-related expenses.
Performance and reporting:
Develop performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the HR team and create reports on HR metrics and performance.
Supervise HR staff:
Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to junior HR staff.
