Key responsibilities
Oversee the recruitment and hiring process, including developing job descriptions, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, and providing guidance on conflict resolution.
Administer and maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) to ensure accurate employee data and efficient processes.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with current employment laws and regulations.
Conduct performance management processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, and improvement plans.
Coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Manage employee benefits, including enrollment, administration, and communication of programs.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Collaborate with management to address staffing needs and workforce planning.
Participate in strategic planning and implementation of HR initiatives to align with organizational goals.
Manage and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a fair and equitable manner.
Provide guidance and support on disciplinary actions and terminations.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints or policy violations.
Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, and recommend improvements to policies and procedures.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on confidentiality and integrity.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Ability to foster a positive work culture and employee engagement.
Experience in conflict resolution and mediation.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
