1. Job Purpose



The Manager - HR will be responsible for building a strong HR infrastructure across multiple business verticals. This role ensures smooth functioning of HR, Payroll, Statutory, Training, Policy Implementation, Manpower Control, and Administration across the company's Real Estate sites, Retail outlets, and Manufacturing plant.

2. Core ResponsibilitiesA. Recruitment & Workforce Planning



Develop manpower plans for Real Estate projects, retail branch expansion & shop floor requirements.

Mass recruitment for site engineers, field executives, sales staff, and factory workers.

Maintain structured hiring pipelines: Contract, Staff, Workers, Trainees.

Implement structured onboarding with proper documents & induction program.

Conduct background verification & ensure proper documentation.

B. Payroll, Attendance & Labour Compliance



Complete monthly payroll cycle for multi-location workforce.

Integration of

biometric attendance devices

, shift records & OT management.

Ensure full compliance with:

o PF, ESI, PT

o Shops & Establishments Act (Retail)

o BOCW - Building & Other Construction Workers (Real Estate)

o Factories Act (Manufacturing)

Manage statutory filings, returns & contractor labour compliance.

Maintain employee files, service records & HRMS data accuracy.

C. Manpower Utilization & Cost Control



Implement optimal manpower deployment for retail counters, factory lines & construction sites.

Analyse manpower cost vs output for cost-saving strategies.

Reduce unproductive manpower, absenteeism & overtime cost.

Prepare utilisation reports:

o Manpower Ratio

o Productivity Score

o Shift Performance

o Replacement Analysis

D. Internal & External Audit Coordination



Prepare all HR records, files, registers & statutory documents for audit.

Maintain compliance registers under labour laws.

Coordinate with auditors during inspections, factory audit, wage audit & statutory audits.

Close all audit queries with documented proof.

Ensure contractor compliance (Real Estate & Factory contract labour).

E. HR Policies, SOP Development & Implementation



Draft HR policies covering leave, attendance, appraisal, travel, discipline, POSH, uniform, safety & conduct.

Prepare SOPs for Retail Store HR, Factory HR & Site HR.

Conduct training and awareness sessions on new policies.

Implement disciplinary procedures with warning, memo, suspension documentation.

Ensure fair & transparent work culture across all units.

F. Performance Management & Training



Create department-wise KRAs/KPIs for staff & workers.

Conduct monthly review meetings with HODs.

Identify skill gaps and arrange internal/external training programs.

Implement performance-linked incentives for sales, site, admin, and factory teams.

G. Administration & Facility Management



Oversee admin functions: housekeeping, security, office facilities & maintenance.

Manage vendor contracts (cleaning, security, canteen, travel, manpower suppliers).

Ensure safety compliance in manufacturing & site operations.

Handle logistics, office assets, ID cards, uniforms & travel arrangements.

Ensure discipline, punctuality & behaviour standards in all verticals.

H. Employee Engagement & Grievance Handling



Conduct employee welfare programs & engagement activities.

Act as the first point of contact for grievances across sites, factories & showrooms.

Provide counselling, conflict resolution & disciplinary support.

Improve employee retention and build a stable workforce.

3. Personal Requirements



Excellent communication in Tamil & English.

Strong leadership & people-handling skills.

High confidentiality and ethical work nature.

Capable of managing 3 different industries simultaneously.

Problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making ability.

Hands-on working style with field/site/factory presence.

Ability to manage contractors, outsourced staff & vendors.

Strong documentation skills & statutory knowledge.

4. Qualification & Experience



MBA / PGDM / MSW (HR specialization preferred).

4-12 years of HR experience with exposure to

Real Estate, Retail, or Manufacturing

.

Strong knowledge of labour laws & compliance.

5. Salary - Based on Skill Set
