Position Summary:
The HR & Admin Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources and administrative operations, ensuring smooth organizational functioning. This role involves managing HR strategy, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and general administration including facilities, vendor management, and office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Human Resource Management
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems aligned with business goals.
Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures with professionalism.
Lead performance management and appraisal processes.
Oversee payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
Support employee learning, training, and development initiatives.
Drive employee engagement and retention strategies.
2. Administrative Management
Oversee day-to-day administrative functions such as office management, facilities, housekeeping, and security.
Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and contract administration.
Ensure maintenance of office infrastructure, utilities, and safety measures.
Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics, and event management.
Implement cost-effective administrative procedures and control budgets.
Maintain records, licenses, and statutory documents related to office operations.
3. Policy & Compliance
Formulate and update HR & Admin policies in line with organizational needs and legal compliance.
Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies.
Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and legal advisors when required.
4. Strategic & Reporting
Provide HR metrics and reports to management (attrition, headcount, recruitment, training, etc.).
Participate in strategic planning discussions regarding manpower and organizational development.
Advise leadership on HR trends and employee-related risks.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of HR and administrative operations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Sound understanding of labor laws and compliance.
Proficiency in HRMS / HRIS and MS Office tools.
High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and organizational commitment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
6-10 years of experience in HR and Administration, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial capacity.
