Role & Responsibilities Overview:

Create, modify and test various SQL queries, stored procedures and views for obtaining data from diverse source systems and platforms Assist in the roll-out of new SQL based applications, problem fixes, and enhancements of software Follow database best practices to improve the operational reporting environment while focusing on resolving problems raised by team members, stakeholders and end users Implement ETL and other data movement requirements using SQL, SSIS Develops original and/or complex code in T-SQL/ SQL, create/optimize SSIS packages Design and develop new SQL code as part of an ETL process to support report development on PowerBI Improve SQL procedures, Window services / .NET programs which transform and load data Develop stored procedures functions using T-SQL/SQL to automate report refresh or data views Responsible for data profiling, source-target mappings, ETL development, SQL tunings and optimization, testing and implementation Excellent verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally communicate with others, including situations where you may disagree with people

Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply

5+ years in analytics (Preferably with Insurance in Llyods Business, London/Bermuda Market (Commercial & Specialty Lines))

Must have advance SQL, SSIS knowledge

Good to have experience in reporting tools including PBI/SSAS/SSRS etc.

Good critical thinking and problem solving skills

Strong record of achievement, solid analytical ability, and an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills

Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges

Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
