is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all housekeeping and environmental services within the hospital. This role ensures that patient rooms, operating areas, and common spaces meet hospital cleanliness and sanitation standards, complying with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff to maintain a clean and sanitary hospital environment.
Develop and implement cleaning protocols and quality control inspections.
Ensure compliance with hospital infection control policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., JCI, NABH).
Manage housekeeping inventory, ordering, and budgeting for supplies and equipment.
Coordinate with nursing, maintenance, and administration to support hospital operations.
Conduct regular inspections of patient rooms, wards, and public areas.
Handle staff performance evaluations, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Ensure waste management and biomedical waste disposal are handled per legal and hospital standards.
Maintain documentation and reports for audits and compliance purposes.
