Oversee day-to-day operations of guest houses, faculty residences, and visitor accommodations.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, comfort, safety, and service quality.
Manage hospitality arrangements for visiting faculty, dignitaries, parents, recruiters, and international guests.
Food & Beverage Management
Supervise cafeteria, mess, and catering services for students, staff, and events.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure food quality, hygiene, nutritional standards, and timely service.
Monitor compliance with FSSAI and university food safety norms.
Event & Conference Support
Plan and manage hospitality for university events such as convocations, conferences, seminars, admissions drives, and cultural programs.
Coordinate logistics including catering, seating, guest handling, accommodation, and protocol arrangements.
Vendor & Contract Management
Identify, appoint, and manage hospitality vendors and service providers.
Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure cost-effective services.
Handle billing, payments, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Team Leadership & Supervision
Recruit, train, and supervise hospitality staff including housekeeping, catering, and support personnel.
Prepare duty rosters, monitor attendance, and ensure productivity and discipline.
Conduct regular training on service excellence, hygiene, and safety protocols.
Budgeting & Compliance
Prepare and manage the hospitality budget, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
Maintain records, MIS reports, and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with university policies, health & safety regulations, and statutory norms.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or related field
Master's degree or professional certification in Hospitality Management (preferred)
Experience
5 plus years of relevant experience in hospitality management
Experience in educational institutions, universities, hotels, resorts, or large campuses preferred
