Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with PMU/PMC to identify
market-driven crops and suitable varieties
based on agro-climatic conditions
Prepare
roadmaps
for ensuring availability of quality planting material
Assist PMU in
crop selection and crop calendar preparation
under the SHEP approach
Develop
packages of practices
for quality production and marketable surplus
Review and monitor
crop-wise and cluster-wise physical & financial targets
and submit monthly assessment reports
Prepare
training modules
for beneficiaries
Draft
Annual Action Plans
, track disbursements, and obtain UC/SOE monthly
Conduct
field inspections
in coordination with PMU/HMT
Prepare
nursery development protocols
Identify
location-specific interventions
to mitigate climate change effects
Conduct
SWOT analysis
of clusters
Promote
sustainable horticulture practices
, IPM, INM, and soil health management
Assist in
procurement of seeds and critical inputs
well in advance of the season
Maintain records related to
planning, implementation, and monitoring
Prepare
daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
as directed by PMU
Coordinate with
project stakeholders
Develop
daily work record books
for farmers
Submit
monthly reports and tour details
to PMU and incorporate feedback
Perform any other duties assigned by project authorities
