Inviting applications for the role of Manager-Financial Planning & Analysis
In this role, you will be responsible to support the Finance, FP&A team in managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analyzing the trends of key performance indicators (KPIs), related to financial metrics such as sales, expenses, and profit margin.
Responsibilities
Analyze financial statements and determine monthly revenue and expenses
Backlog revenue Reporting, walk creation between current & previous quarter, comparison with previous periods
Generate revenue reports and financial statements
Financial Planning & Analysis, forecasting, closings, reconciliations
Lead the end-to-end management reporting process, including consolidation, analysis, and presentation of P&L and key metrics
Drive insights on price-volume dynamics, margin movement, and business trends across service lines
Establish and track leading indicators that anticipate changes in financial performance
Partner with forecasting, strategy, and business finance teams to ensure cohesive financial narratives and accurate inputs for guidance cycles
Own and maintain the financial reporting hierarchies in Workday Financials and ensure accurate mapping of cost and revenue
Identify and implement opportunities to standardize and automate management reporting processes at an organizational level (Good to have - as req in future state)
Develop internal controls to support financial analysis and reporting
Timely communication / Proactiveness to resolve issues and close gaps
Ad-hoc reporting
Responsible to showcase strong work ethic, with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment
Good communication skills (written & verbal), liaise with higher bands
Extended hours during monthly & quarterly closings, Hybrid work model
Minimum Qualifications
M.Com/MBA (Finance) equivalent degree with a strong academic record
Relevant work experience in Finance, good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Expertise in Workday Financials with hands-on experience in reporting structures and data hierarchies
Deep understanding of P&L mechanics, cost and revenue classification, and financial modeling and drivers
Exposure to enterprise planning cycles (quarterly forecast, annual guidance)
Experience driving reporting standardization and process improvement initiatives (Project based exp will be added advantage)
Strong executive communication, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities
