We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, GSC\xe2\x80\x99s \xe2\x80\x93 Functional Account Ownership (FAO) In this role, you will:

  • Achieve established Performance Level Agreements (PLA\xe2\x80\x99s)
  • Improve and sustain quality standards of Balance Sheet Reconciliation & Substantiation Process.
  • Preparation of Analytical Review Packs and Trend Analysis
  • Checking and monitoring the integrity of the ledger by clearing variances on a timely basis
  • Review Subsystems for accuracy and ensure reconciling items are researched in a timely manner
  • Requires strong excel and analytical skills
  • Should be well versed with the key requirement of Risk & Control
  • Maintain up to date documentation for all Journal processed and supporting activities
  • Has strong technical understanding of accounting principles and demonstrated competence in their application;
  • Ensure compliance with HSBC standards and Statutory requirements;
  • Identify opportunities for process re-engineering / improvement and drive changes independently;
  • Issues/Problems are investigated and resolved or escalated appropriately





Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • BCom /M Com/ CA(Inter)/ CWA (Inter): 7-8 years
  • CA/CWA/MBA: 5-7 years of experience
  • Independent, able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks with excellent communication
  • and interpersonal skills
  • Level of analytical skills and ability to grasp complicated functions in short period of time and transfer
  • knowledge appropriately
  • Ability to manage customer relationship with multiple business partners
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and good team player
  • Should be flexible to stretch and work across shifts
  • Experience of 7-8 years in the Financial Services Industry in Finance and Accounting domain preferred
  • Knowledge of Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Substantiation is essential
  • Exposure to systems like RPS & FTP will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to speak and understand English, write business letters and reports, and has good conversational / telephone skills.
  • Ability and experience of managing customer relationships/ service delivery
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
