Role PurposeThe Manager, Government Relations & Regulatory Strategy is responsible for tracking regulator and policymaker engagements, as well as researching and monitoring key policy and regulatory developments related to policy issues impacting LSEG within assigned jurisdictions in Asia Pacific. This role supports the development and roll-out of appropriate advocacy positions.Role Responsibilities Researches, monitors, and interprets relevant policy, regulatory, and political developments on a real-time basis provides internal analysis and briefings as required . Prepares written briefings and policy / research notes for LSEG senior leadership as well as amendments / consultation responses / position papers as appropriate. Proactively sources engagement opportunities to help advance Group policy agenda. Develops advocacy and engagement strategies on key policy priorities and adjusts them accordingly over time. Builds and maintains deep and trusted relationships with relevant external stakeholders to support LSEG public policy agenda. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key internal stakeholders understands their business, client base, and commercial objectives.
