This role will be a part of our Segment Procurement Team and report to our VP of Supply Chain, Structures and Connectivity. The Global Procurement Manager will ensure the global procurement strategy is aligned with the Microwave BU strategic requirements. You will contribute to our team through planning, development, communication, and implementation of the BUs strategy in support of product cost, quality, and service expectations.
We are looking for a commercially savvy strategic thinker who can help drive our portfolio and product expansion whilst leading a small team on that journey.
How You Will Make An Impact:

• Develop and implement high level strategic initiatives to optimize material costs, supply, and quality.
• Continuous review and analysis of the strategy to accommodate changes in market dynamics.
• Influencing decisions, negotiating, and building consensus.
• Establish and achieve KPI goals, manage projects.
• Lead the Strategic Sourcing Specialist in support of new projects and BU goals.
• Collaborate with Category Management teams and Site Procurement to meet strategic direction, goals, and market needs for the BU.
• Lead NPI (new product introduction) procurement activities to establish lowest cost and the right Supply Chain for new products.
• Lead risk mitigation activities related to direct material suppliers.
• Present and engage with general management, senior executives and cross functional BU teams.

Required Qualifications For Consideration:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field
• Management experience including experience presenting to senior executives.
• Team management Experience.
• Experience in commodities like Sheet metal, die casting, CNC machine
• Must have experience in localization projects.
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong leadership abilities to deliver results and lead global teams
• Willing and able to travel domestic and international as needed.

• Have previous telecom industry experience.
• MBA or industry accreditations/certifications.
