Job Summary
The Fundraising Manager will develop and manage relationships with individual donors to generate sustainable support for Utkarsh Global Foundation's initiatives. The role involves designing strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, working closely with the Head - Individual Giving to achieve revenue goals.
Fundraising Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans aligned with organizational goals.
Identify new funding opportunities and design innovative fundraising campaigns.
Conduct market research to assess donor trends and fundraising best practices.
2. Donor Management & Stewardship
Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.
Manage donor databases, track contributions, and ensure accurate reporting.
Lead donor recognition and stewardship activities to enhance donor retention.
3. Proposal & Grant Development
Research grant opportunities and prepare high-quality proposals and applications.
Ensure timely submission of grant applications and compliance with reporting requirements.
Maintain relationships with foundations and grant-making institutions.
4. Campaign & Event Leadership
Plan and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and outreach activities.
Collaborate with communications teams to create promotional materials.
Evaluate the success of fundraising initiatives and recommend improvements.
5. Financial Management & Reporting
Set fundraising targets and monitor progress toward revenue goals.
Manage fundraising budgets and ensure cost-effective activities.
Prepare fundraising reports for senior management and the Board.
6. Team Collaboration & Supervision
Lead and mentor fundraising staff, interns, and volunteers.
Coordinate with program, finance, and communications teams to align fundraising activities with organizational needs.
Represent the organization at external meetings, conferences, and donor events.
