NMT invites applications from dynamic individuals with excellent communication and fundraising skills for the position of Manager, Fund Raising. This position will support the Fundraising and Partnership team in identifying donor resources, raising funds, and writing proposals for the long-term sustainability of NMT programs.

Educational qualifications:
Postgraduate degree in Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Additional Degree/Diploma in Fundraising & Partnerships / Leadership would be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in successfully fundraising for NGOs, preferably in the Eldercare Sector, from both domestic and international channels. This includes fundraising from retail donors, CSRs (Private & PSUs), philanthropic foundations/trusts, HNI/UHNIs, Social Stock Exchange, International Donors, Foundations, etc., and innovative funding campaigns.
Should be familiar with online and offline fundraising approaches
Proven track record of building, developing, and managing key stakeholder, client, and donor relationships.
Knowledge of developmental landscape and corporate social responsibility regulations, Govt. programs, key stakeholders, and relevant government policies/strategies.
Salary:
Gross Rs. 40,000-45,000 (per month) negotiable.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement annual and long-term fundraising strategies aligned with the Trust's vision and mission.
Undertake market research and maintain and track a portfolio of existing and potential donor companies and organizations.
Identifying opportunities for partnership through scanning, networking, advocacy and policy work.
Compile and maintain a database of donor organizations (international foundations, domestic funding agencies, bilateral and multilateral agencies, Public Sector CSRs, Private Sector CSRs, private funding agencies, HNIs etc., offering donations).
Regularly monitor donor websites and identify and inform donor opportunities matching the work of the organization.
Identify and cultivate new donors including corporates, HNIs, foundations, and institutional funders, educational institutions.
Work collaboratively with the program team to develop proposals that match organisational needs with funder priorities.
Develop concept notes, pitch deck, project ideas, and project proposals and ensure their timely submission.
Stay abreast of literature and developments in the field to ensure that proposals are current and to identify new opportunities and develop plans for long-term incomes for the Trust.
Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and donor events (online and offline).
Lead proposal writing and concept notes for government, CSR, and grant funding
Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors through regular engagement, reporting, and acknowledgment.
Develop, review, and strengthen the resource mobilisation policies and processes
Work closely with the communication team for fundraising campaigns, newsletters, reports and social media, website content, to donor outreach.
Assist in developing business plans to generate income from various sources. Undertake independent research to find alternative resources for the long-term sustainability of the organization
Regularly review partnership status, risks, and issues with the team
Improve and develop communications material for the organization, such as creatives, brochures, reports, posters, flash drives, etc.
Organize or provide assistance in organizing any fundraising events for the organization
Ensure fundraising activities comply with various laws like Income Tax, CSR, FCRA etc.
Manage the donor reporting and periodic reports on fundraising
Work closely with the supervisor on setting priorities, directions, and responding to requests from Govt. and partners.
Perform other activities, as assigned by the supervisor to achieve organizational goals.
Essential Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated track record of maintaining key donor relationships, as well as establishing new partnerships
Expertise in creating and delivering compelling and persuasive presentations
Proficiency in producing high-quality documents such as concept notes, pitch decks, proposals, creatives, budgets, donor reports, status updates, minutes etc.
Project management skills including planning, execution, evaluation, and internal & external stakeholders management
MS Office skills - proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and e-meeting platforms
Willingness to travel.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Ability to handle a variety of assignments under pressure of deadlines
