Job Description


Myntra is seeking a data-driven, highly motivated Fraud Prevention Manager. We are looking for
a technical-minded strong leader who has a proven track record of investigating consumer and
Logistics fraud and building systems to detect fraud the moment it hits the financial system. The
leader will take ownership of investigations to root out bad actors and develop junior
investigators to do the same. This individual will ensure Myntra\'s Operations stays ahead of
risks while working collaboratively and effectively with multiple stakeholders, businesses, and
leaders is a highly visible role. A successful candidate is comfortable working deep in large data
sets from disparate sources using multiple analytic tools to derive patterns and assumptions. A
successful candidate can communicate recommendations and findings to senior leaders at a

The selected individual must have a passion for fraud prevention and analytics who can drive
efficiencies with those around them through effective lateral and upward management with the
goal of preventing fraud and abuse in Myntra.
Roles and Responsibilities:
\xef\x82\xb7 Set-up and drive Metrics for Fraud Incident Management & Investigations
\xef\x82\xb7 Manage repository of Investigative reports (case library) & document control
\xef\x82\xb7 Incident management - Present RCA, case resolution & status in Management review
\xef\x82\xb7 Device effective fraud analytics basis pattern recognition / trend analysis
\xef\x82\xb7 Assign and monitor investigations progress with FST/ERM and FRM
\xef\x82\xb7 Report writing, case study bulletins and Advisories
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop & update SOPs on Fraud investigations, policies / procedures.
\xef\x82\xb7 Direct, manage & successfully close Investigations pertaining to Fraud, whistle-blower
complaints, misconduct & workplace violence.
\xef\x82\xb7 Investigation Management: Ability to effectively manage complex investigations by
collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
\xef\x82\xb7 Identify and share industry best practices and work with cross-functional teams to
assess their feasibility and implementation on fraud prevention.
\xef\x82\xb7 Evaluate latest practices/tools to identify next-generation and onboarding risk detection
system
\xef\x82\xb7 Analyzing current and historic data and to keep the Fraud detection rules efficient and
effective.
\xef\x82\xb7 Providing necessary support to the business for new products and services from a fraud
perspective.
\xef\x82\xb7 Be the custodian of fraud risk information and be the key point of contact.
\xef\x82\xb7 Regular evaluation of fraud strategies that are implemented from both an operational
and financial benefit perspective, whilst suggesting changes and improvements as
necessary.
\xef\x82\xb7 Driving optimization of rules to enhance fraud control while balancing business and
customer experience.
\xef\x82\xb7 Identify improvement areas and develop plans to strengthen and close gaps in
processes and controls.
\xef\x82\xb7 Assist investigation team with timely and accurate data.
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide all necessary assistance to Law enforcement on data related to Fraud Risk
management.
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare BRD, PRD on Fraud mitigation.

\xef\x82\xb7 Strong excel skills for structuring and modelling data, insight generation and case
\xef\x82\xb7 builds.
\xef\x82\xb7 Good presentation and storytelling ability to convert insights into a coherent
\xef\x82\xb7 narrative.
\xef\x82\xb7 High degree of ownership, stakeholder management and bias for action
\xef\x82\xb7 Proficiency in SQL. Good knowledge of data manipulation language such as SQL to design,
review, optimize and troubleshoot data manipulation
